Remento books are designed to be more than just printed pages. Each one is a hardcover collection of spoken memories, carefully written, beautifully formatted, and professionally bound. The book includes photos, stories in your chosen writing style, and QR codes that let your family hear the original voice behind each chapter.
Every book is printed in vibrant color on double-thick paper with a customizable cover. It is built to last for generations and includes a table of contents and polished layout that reflects the care you’ve put into your project.
Starting your order
To begin, log into your account on a computer and click the “Order Books” tab. This section is only available on desktop, not on mobile or tablet. From there, Remento will guide you through a step-by-step process to build your book.
You will start by designing your cover. You can upload a photo from your computer or import one from services like Google Drive, Dropbox, Instagram, or Facebook. Then you’ll customize the book title and byline. Titles can include up to four lines of text, with a maximum of twenty characters per line. To split lines, press “enter” while typing.
Next, you will review the list of stories. You can reorder them by dragging, remove any you do not want to include, or tap into each story to make final edits. It is important to review every story for accuracy and clarity before continuing.
Previewing and finalizing your book
After reviewing your content, Remento will generate a full PDF preview. This step may take a few minutes depending on the number and length of your stories. You’ll be able to view the full layout including stories, photos, and the table of contents.
Each chapter includes a QR code. When scanned with a phone or tablet, the code plays the original recording connected to that story. If you prefer not to include QR codes, you can turn them off during the preview step by clicking “Learn more about how Remento QR codes work here,” then selecting the option to adjust your preferences.
Once you are satisfied with the preview, you’ll select how many books to order and provide your shipping details. If you need to ship to multiple addresses, you will complete a separate order for each destination.
Costs and credits
The first hardcover book is included in your Remento purchase. This applies to books up to 200 pages. If your book exceeds 200 pages, there will be a surcharge, and you can purchase additional copies of your book for $69 each. Longer books, between 201 and 380 pages, are priced at $99 per copy.
If you have prepaid book credits, they will automatically be applied at checkout. Only the project host and the storyteller can use the included free book credit.
Books are typically delivered within 21 business days of ordering using standard shipping within the United States.
Reordering or making changes
If you want to order more copies of the exact same book, you can go to the “View Past Orders” section. From there, select the book you want to reorder and follow the prompts.
If you want to print a version with different content, such as a new cover photo or updated stories, you will need to go through the full design and order process again.
A lasting keepsake
Your Remento book is a professional-grade product. It is 8x10 inches in size, printed on durable paper, and carefully bound. Blank pages may be added at the beginning to maintain correct page flow, and right-hand pages are always even-numbered to ensure proper layout. These small touches help the final result feel complete and polished.
Each copy is private and only viewable by the people you’ve invited into the project. The result is a keepsake that preserves not only what was said, but how it was said.
